- •Draping and sexual misconduct policies- Your body is to be covered by a sheet at all times excluding the area(s) being worked on by the therapist. At no time are breasts or genitals to be uncovered by the client or therapist. If a client exposes themself purposely, touches themself or the therapist in a sexual manner the session will be terminated immediately. The use of any sexual language, or inappropriate flirtation may result in session termination. If any of these incidents occur the client will be charged 100% of the session and unwelcome to any future sessions in the facility .
- Client hygiene policy- The client is expected to arrive with clean clothing, hair, and body. Strong body odor, sweat and dirt will not be tolerated resulting in potential termination of the appointment. A 50% charge may apply.
- Cancellation and illness policy- It is the responsibility of the client to cancel or reschedule appointments with a 24 hour notice using text, voicemail or phone call. Improper notice or no shows will be charged 100% of the service. Chronic no shows or cancellations may result in termination of future appointments and/or termination of any future business relationship.
- Cell phone use is prohibited during massage session.Massage Therapy- The techniques applied may not be used to diagnose any condition. The therapist may relay concerns about a condition and refer the client to a facility where appropriate testing can be done. The massage therapist may advise that you seek a second opinion regarding a condition being treated, but will not contradict the recommendations of any medical personnel or those qualified to treat and medicate any condition. Individual results may vary.
- • Request for a doctor’s note- To ensure the safety of the client, the therapist may request a signed doctor’s note that massage is appropriate for a client with specific health conditions such as but not limited to;
- •Blood clots, stroke or circulatory conditions including uncontrolled blood pressure that have occurred in the last 12 months
- •Any type of accident resulting in severe/chronic pain
- •Any diagnosis of serious illness such as cancer or organ dysfunction
- •Surgeries that occurred within the last 4 weeks
- •Clients with mobility issues- The therapist may not assist with any dressing or undressing of the client. The therapist may not assist with positioning or rotating the client on the table. A qualified practitioner or family member must be with you.
The therapist has the right to refuse service to any individual that arrives looking, acting or smelling intoxicated in any capacity. This includes alcohol, marijuana or overuse of medications. Service may be denied if it has been determined that an individual is not healthy enough to receive massage. This may include viral or bacterial infections of any kind as well as any health issue that may be contraindicated or require a doctor’s note.
